Performance Training for Basketball Players
Basketball is a passion of mine. It has been for a very long time. I grew up making a TON of mistakes with my on-court development which wasn’t specific to only the things that I was doing on the court.
Off-the-court I was lifting every day, not eating enough, not sleeping enough, and carrying around a very poor mindset that wasn’t conducive to me being the best athlete that I could be.
After all the struggles and injuries endured in high school, I lost my love for playing the game. During that time though I went to college and learned about anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and much more regarding athlete performance. I would start with my learning in the class and then would continue to search for more beyond the classroom after obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science.
I’ve bridged the gap of understanding the ins and outs of athletic performance and applying it to developing basketball players off-the-court.
I do this because I love the game so much and don’t want young basketball players making the same mistakes that I made growing up.
Over the span of the past decade, I’ve worked with basketball players from middle school to the NBA. During that time I’ve helped over 30 local youth develop and grow themselves into collegiate athletes.
I’ve worked with AAU programs (Common Bond, The Academy), Western Michigan Broncos Men’s Basketball (intern), 2014/2015 & 2015/2016 Arbor Prep Boys Varsity Basketball, and the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 Ann Arbor Huron Boys Varsity Basketball team that finished 41-1 over those two years and in 2021 finished as State Runner Up for Division 1 and a total of 9 of those players from Huron went on to play college basketball at the NCAA Division 1, 2, and 3 levels.
