If you find yourself more dissatisfied with your life than not, then I invite you to try this exercise.
Hell, even if you're a pretty happy person and achieving what you strive for I encourage you to give this a shot.
Whenever you're upset, anxious, or feel like you're losing control simply ask yourself "is this helpful?"
Basically, anything where it can be "us" versus "them" (rarely should it ever come to this mentality anyway, but that's another conversation).
You get angrier. You become more convicted. You yell louder.
Ask yourself, "is this helpful?"
You won't be perfect with implementing this mindset shift. I know I'm far from it. But, it has made my life much less stressful and easier to navigate.
