The Kale & Pinenut salad is DELICIOUS and good for you. My recommendation is to get a large salad and then add either grilled chicken or pulled chicken added.
They also have solid fish options available; salmon, swordfish, and rainbow trout.
Want a burger? Knock yourself out. Skip the bun and go with a kale and pinenut salad on the side instead of fries.
Skip the tortilla & sour cream. No chips are needed to enjoy these fajitas. They've got a little bit of a kick to them, but in my opinion are the best that I've had in the Ann Arbor / Metro Detroit area.
Maiz Mexican Cantina (Depot Town)
Like Isalita, you can opt for the chicken fajitas, but Maiz has some other great options on their menu.
The Mango Chicken Salad, Grilled Shrimp Salad, and Hawaiian Fajitas are all excellent and tasty choices that you can enjoy.
We don't want you to get the message twisted either. Are we saying "You NEED to eat healthy and support local restaurants?"
If you want to support local and eat whatever it is that you enjoy, then knock yourself out (I had an Anthony's Gourmet Deep Dish a couple of weeks ago myself :-)).
